Refer to the calendar on this website.
How can I find someone to play at my level?
Watch people play and then ask to rotate in with people at just above, just below, or at your skill level. The WPC is an inclusive group. However, if you find yourself getting clobbered consistently with one group, you are probably not having fun, and neither is the group. Move down and practice more.
We support the use of Playtime Scheduler (www.playtimescheduler.com) to help you find or create groups of players similar skills and friends to play with. Players’ names and skill level are shown on the session so you can decide if you’d like to join that group. (Please note that this is NOT a reservation system)
How do I know what level I should compete?
Watch other players play and ask players who seem to have your same skill level what level they are playing.

Pickleball Equipment
Where can I find information on paddles?
Please note: With the rise in popularity of pickleball, so has the availability of types of paddles and places to buy. You do not need to spend a lot of money on a paddle to get started. PLEASE treat yourself well enough not to buy wooden or metal paddles. While wooden paddles are hardy and metal ones cheap, control and consistency are a LOT better with the next step up. The prices of wood or metal paddles start about $15 each or 2 for $30-50. Better starter paddles can be purchased for $35-50 each, or two for $60-90. Once you’re comfortable, there are tons of videos on You Tube for advice and of course you can try a friend’s before you buy. Paddles can get to be well over $300 and you may not like them.
Some of the commercial clubs such as Dill Dinkers, The Pickr, and Pickleballerz offer demo paddles. And, we have some manufacturer’s representatives in the area who can offer advice or demos to try. Contact the club for referrals. Reps, contact the club to have your name on our referral list!
Paddles may be purchased at most sporting goods stores. Both PickleballCentral.com and Amazon.com feature periodic pickleball paddle sales with paddle reviews.
Your membership in our club includes perks such as discounts to some preferred vendors.
